FRANCES M. AULD (MELVIN)

FRANCES M. AULD (nee MELVIN) Died peacefully on Saturday, December 2, 2006, at age 92 years. Frances was born in Winnipeg on October 9, 1914, the youngest of three sisters, now deceased. Frances was an avid speed skater in her youth and honed her skills on the Red River. After moving to Vancouver in 1966 she settled in West Vancouver where she joined the West Vancouver Community Centre meeting and enjoying many new friends. She leaves behind her loving daughter Gail; and friends and relatives in Winnipeg, Cornwall and Vancouver. There will be no service and interment will be in spring 2007. Donations in her honour may be made to any animal shelter of your choice or the Alzheimers Society in your area. The kindness and tender care Frances received at Inglewood Care Centre was exemplary and I wish to thank all who tended to my Mother. Thanks also to Dr. M. Knight for his care and understanding of my Mother. LOVE YOU MOM, AND MISS YOU ALWAYS
